The (ICI) is relatively inexpensive, quick and painless; it's a process by which the donor sperm is deposited directly in the cervix and from there to the uterus and fallopian tubes in other to fertilize the eggs while (IUI) is a process where the sperm is directly placed into the uterus to fertilize the eggs. It is commonly practiced with couples who have low sperm count and cervical mucus problems.
However, the most commonly used, easy and safer method of artificial inseminates is the (IUI) and (ICI). The intratubal insemination method is quite rere with its low success rate achieved over time.

Also married couples who desire to have babies and are unable to, are also opting for this method of conception.
The following are important steps towards artificial insemination.

Step 2. The ovulation circle is also determined with the use of ultrasound machines and body basal temperatures, the hormones levels are also closed monitored.

Step 3. When a sperm is obtained, it is washed so that mucus and non motile sperms are removed to increase the possibility of fertilization.
Step 4.By using IUI method, the sperm is injected into the woman's uterus or the fallopian tube with the use of catheter or a needle less syringe in a painless process. If pregnancy occurs or the egg is fertilized, it can be detected in 2 weeks.
